Championship Complete

The public Forecast layer now reflects the championship-complete state on both tracks.
Published

April 6, 2026

The championship is complete on both tracks, and the public Forecast layer has been refreshed to the terminal championship state.

Men

The men’s anchor entry (E01) finished at 970 points, 8th of 10, with 43/63 picks correct through the full tournament. The defining terminal break remains UConn over Duke in the East regional final: once Duke fell before the Final Four, the anchor’s title spine was gone and the later Michigan title could no longer rescue the bracket.

The realized men’s champion is Michigan. Across the saved portfolio, the Michigan sleeves finished first through fourth, with the best men entry (E05) closing at 1,320 points.

Women

The women’s anchor entry (W-E01) finished at 1,200 points, 4th of 10, with 50/63 picks correct through the full tournament. The anchor carried the full Elite Eight cleanly, added one correct Final Four semifinal, and then lost the title game when UCLA beat South Carolina for the championship after South Carolina had already eliminated UConn in the national semifinal.

The realized women’s champion is UCLA. The best women entries were the UCLA sleeves, with W-E07 finishing first at 1,510 points.

Public Surface

This terminal refresh closes the public layer’s stale Elite Eight state: the homepage, updates index, bracket figures, and Forecast layer now point to the championship-complete outcome rather than the 2026-04-01 snapshot.

For the full terminal dossier stack and supporting ledgers, see the refreshed Men’s Forecast and Women’s Forecast pages.
